Where do you speak from?

on

Ephesians 4:15 says” Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

There are two places that we will speak from, either we will speak from “love,” or we will speak from “anger “.

Now depending on what we are feeling now will decide from which vessel we will speak. When we are disappointed by a loved one, we speak from our anger, and then we wonder how come they do not listen to us or understand what we are saying? They become offensive towards us.

The reason being is because we spoke to them from the vessel of anger instead of speaking to them from love. It is not easy speaking from love although we love them it does not always come out that way, does it? So how can we make sure that when we speak that we speak from love and not from the anger?

One of the ways we can do this is first take a deep breath and wait a moment before we speak. It is not easy for us because we are so used to reacting without waiting. It is not until afterwards that we realize just how sorry we are for speaking to them.

Anytime we raise our voices we are speaking from that anger when we speak slowly and clearly, we are speaking from love. You might not agree but think for a moment, if someone spoke to you in a calm voice you are more likely to listen to them. But if someone spoke to you harshly and loudly what are the chances of you wanting to listen to anything that person has to say?

Remember speaking from a place of love instead of a place of anger. People will listen to what you have to say when you speak from love. AMEN

  1. Father, I am so thankful for Desiray and her willingness to share with others Your word. I ask You to bless her abundantly. May Your word always guide her in the way in which she should go. Let her be a woman of strength and great character. Help her to shine forth Your love in this dark world. May she reach others through her submission to You and what she knows to be truth according to Your word. May all of her steps be pleasing in Your sight. May she be endowed with power from on high. Oh, Lord may everything that she does bring You glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
    Be blessed my sister. Hugs.

My sister what a beautiful prayer that you prayed for me. I truly am humbled. Doing God’s Will is never easy. I tend to get push back from the world. I try my best to share the Love of God with people. Some except it some do not. And that is okay for I tell myself it is not my job to get them saved. It is the Holy Spirit who does that. It is my job to show them Christ.

There are times when I feel if what I do on here still worth it? Many times I just wanted to stop writing. And every time I feel this push inside of me saying,” take another step” and that step of strength comes from God, I know.

That is what keeps me writing and sharing the Gospel of Jesus love for mankind. I know that one day when I get to heaven all will be revealed.

Again, Sis thank you so much for your friendship or connection that we have as Sister’s in Christ Jesus.

Have a blessed day, love you. 🌹

I am so glad God keeps you going! We may never know what impact we had until we get to Heaven. One thing is for sure I wanna hear Him say well done…”you have been faithful in what I gave you. Enter into the joy of the Lord.” One day sis it will be worth it all.
You encourage me daily. I love reading what the Lord is saying through your blogs. Keep up the good work! Hugs! ❤
