The Workplace Can Be Stressful-Key is how you deal with it!

on

Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Working in the workplace can be stressful at times. We work so that we can take care of our families. You would think that since we are all there for that one common goal. That the workplace would be lighter and not difficult.

Sadly, not everyone who is in the workplace has the same idea or common reason as to why he or she works. So where does this office politics come from. Where does it stem from? Why are employees so agitated? Why is management so disconnected with their employees?

Work is a gift from God. “In the beginning of time God took man and placed him in the Garden of Eden to work and keep it. Work has been a part of God’s plan for humanity.

In life there are two sides to every coin. When an employee is not treated fairly, their work will reflect their actions. So, what started out as a great employee who worked hard has now taken the do not care attitude. And why do they respond that way? Remarkably simple, when a person is not valued, they do not want to give a hundred percent?

Second side of the coin is that we know that perception is reality. We cannot see what is really happening behind the scenes can we? So, we can only go by what we see, that is why we say that perception is reality. And since we do know what took place behind the scenes’ we make bad judgment on our managers by assuming they are out to get us.

Environment like this is toxic for everyone. Either way we all must live with the decisions we make at the end of the day.

So why can we not all just try to just come to work and do our jobs and go home at the end of the day without feeling exhausted?

It all comes down to sin. Our attitudes, behaviors, thoughts, actions all that stuff. Sin is the culprit. How do you make it work for you? Knowing that no job is perfect because there are no perfect people. How do you make it work for you? How do you manage those stressful moments at work?

Here are a few scriptures to help along the way. Bind them continually upon thine heart and tie them about thy neck.

Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors they are established.

Ephesians 5:16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil.

Thank you, Fay, for being honest. I certainly understand what you felt. I had a serious issue in the workplace a couple of years ago. Stress at work is painful. I learned a lot from it but most of all I learned a lot about me.

It amazes me how moments in life can draw us closer to God then before.

I pray that you are healed and much better and that God has restored everything that the enemy tried to destroy.

    Blessings upon you.

Jesus give your Angels charge over Fay that they protect her every move. In Jesus mighty name I pray. AMEN

  10. For me I have to go to scripture to navigate the workplace. Colossians 3:23-24 ESV
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
