Thirsty πŸ’§

John 4: 14 But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

How much water do you drink in a day? I drink anywhere from thirty-two ounces to sixty-four ounces a day of water. Why do we drink water? For one our bodies need the water. Did you know that your body is made up of sixty percent of water?

Water replenishes what was lost it makes everything flows well, in our bodies just like a stream flowing over the rocks down the river. Water makes life grows. Have you ever had that feeling that no matter what you drink you still feel thirsty? It is like you just cannot get enough to drink. It is a sign that your body is telling you it needs more water, not more tea, not more soda, not more coffee but water.

Often in our spiritual walk we sit and drink from the wrong well. What wells have you been dipping your canaster in? If we do not know the difference, we will drink from the wrong wells of life.

Instead of us trying to dig up water in a desert draw closer to Jesus and watch the Salvation of the Lord change what you and I could not do.

But there is a river which makes glad the city of God, that never runs dry, a well of water that springs up to eternal life. Lord, give us that living water!

Have a bless and wonderful Monday guys.

  1. Yes Lord! As that living water springs up in us – may we not continue to search for that which does not satisfy. Love this!
