When the Pressure Is On

Galatians 6:9 says, and let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Romans 12:11-12 says, do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Let me ask you a question, why do feel the need to give up? Do you give up because your tired of fighting? Do you give up because you are the only one fight? Do you give up because you do not see it worth fight for anymore, or have you decided your done with it?

Whatever your answer is we all have come to places in our lives when giving up is an option, but imagine with me for a moment that giving up was not an option for you?

I believe most of us give up because of our own personal sense of values and our emotions. What would have happened if Jesus gave up?

Life is not easy it will pull things out of you that you never even dreamed that was in you. Call upon the name of the Lord, He will help you. Talk to a friend and ask them to pray for you. But never give up. I know at times the pressure is so overwhelming, that giving up seems to be the only solution.

In closing do not lose sight of what is important. Give it to God for He bore everything on that cross when He died for you. Amen.

Thank you for the encouragement! You are right, Jesus didn’t give up and neither should we. Our lives belong to Him and not ourselves, may we never forget we are bought with a price!
Praying for you and your husband this morning. I trust things are still going well. ❤️🤗

Good morning Hope. I am blessed to know that today’s devotional was an encouragement. I have to remind myself at times this very thing.

We appreciate the prayers. We are doing very well. God has been good to us.

Two weeks ago me and my husband both tested positive for Covid. My husband got it first then two days later I had it.

But you know even with having Covid, God was right there with us. I am so thankful that we both are vaccinated because had we were not things would of been different.

It’s always so nice to hear from you. God bless you and your family. 🙏
