Psalms 34:19 says” the righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.
At times we forget that the Lord will deliver us we also tend to focus on how the Lord will deliver us? We will never know how God will deliver us. So why we do it? The enemy would have us be distracted that we take our eyes off God.
This is a promise that the Lord is telling you and me. He first tells us that we are going to have problems. But notice in the scripture that He says, many are the afflictions of the righteous.
That word righteous means being in right relationship with God.
The righteous suffer afflictions because we are not perfectly righteous. We need purging, purifying, chastening, to rid us of the dross and defilement of sin which still clings to us while we continue in the flesh.
