Have you witnessed in church someone who is excited in praise and worship. You notice how they are expressing themselves that you find yourself saying, “what is going on with that person? Let me say that when I was just a little girl one day after church me and my sisters played church. Some of us are still playing church.
I remember seeing my mother get so happy in church I was confused I did not understand the raising of hands, I did not know the meaning of her dancing in church, I did not understand why she would cry. I thought she was hurting. All of this fantasied me as a little girl.
When I asked my mother, it was then that I found out the reason for all of that. Mom was not just happy mom was expressing her gratefulness to the Lord for what the Lord has done for her. It was after she explained it that I wanted to know more about this Lord she served.
When we see a person in church expressing themselves to God we should never sit and ask why or say “ does not take all that? “You have no idea of the meaning of their worship to God. When God has done the impossible for you some people just can not sit still.
Maybe you would like to express yourself so freely as they do but you are afraid of what others might say. I know for me my I have chosen to “never be silent” I will not let no rocks cry out for me. I am going to do it myself.
