Praise is thanking God while Worship is worshiping Him for Who HE IS!
When it comes to worship the bible is truly clear about how we are to worship. Your praise and worship cannot just be limited to you on Sundays when you attend church. Praise and worship are a lifestyle.
The benefits of worship, you cannot worry and worship at the same time. For it is impossible to do. Worship brings you into the presence of God. How does your heart respond to worship? Our hearts will determine our worship.
Many of us struggle with worship because we think that it is some type of formula to it. God only requires two things when we worship Him, and they are Spirit and Truth. For He says that the true worshippers will worship Him in Spirit and Truth.
The only reason that the devil does not want us worshipping God is because Lucifer himself was the musician in heaven. Before his fall Satan, was the “anointed cherub” Ezekiel 28:14. He was adorned with every precious jewel imaginable Ezekiel 28:13. He was “the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty” Ezekiel 28:12.
The last thing that Satan wants is for us to worship God Almighty. So, he comes to us whispering in our ears saying thing like, you are doing it wrong. You do not know how to worship. He wants you and I to think that our heart worship to God is not genuine. Do not raise your hands, everyone will think that you done something bad. See it is stuff like this that keeps people’s hands tied to the chains of bondage.
Worshiping God is one of the most humbling experiences one can have. He is Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord will provide. He is Jehovah-Rapha my healer. He is Jehovah-Shammah, The Lord is with me. He is Jehovah-Shalom, our peace. He is Jehovah-Nissi, He is our Banner. He is Jehovah-Raah, my shepherd. He is Jehovah-Tisdkenu, our Righteousness.
Psalm 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker.
Isaiah 12:5 “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”
