Position vs Empowerment

Proverbs 17:2 says “A wise servant will rule over a disgraceful son and will share the inheritance as one of the brothers.

How you live is more of an influence then the position or title one has.

Our influence has less to do with our position or title than it does with the life we live. It is not about the position you hold, but it is about production, it is not about the education you have but it is the empowerment we give to others that makes the difference.

The key word is “credibility we gain credibility when our life matches our talk and when both add value to others. In Proverbs 17:2 it is better to be a wise slave than a foolish son. Do we have consistency? Are you the same person no matter who is with us?

How is your character? Do you work harder at your image or your integrity? Remember whatever is on the inside of you will surface to the outside of us. Very rarely do we find people whose words and action have consistency.

Lord, I pray that we all will be people whose actions will measure up by what we speak. May we no longer continue down the wrong path. But let us choose your path. May we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us and minster to us in every area of our lives. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN, AMEN and AMEN.
